All parcels are sent using Austria Post or GLS, which we trust to deliver your items safely throughout Europe. For international orders outside of the EU, Austria Post forwards the package to a shipping partner in your country.

COVID-19 Limitations
Due to the coronavirus (Covid-19) and the associated measures by many governments, international postal traffic and the various measures in all European countries can lead to delays and further restrictions in international shipping. Please prepare for delays in the arrival of your package at this time, and be available to assist your customs office and postal workers with any further information they need. We thank you in advance for your patience and cooperation.
Processing Time
Once you have placed your order, please allow 2 days for us to prepare, package and take your items to the post office. We will email you a second time to confirm the package is in the hands of the delivery service. For shipping times, see table above.
Please allow additional processing time for international packages, and larger items and orders.
Missing Parcels
Shipping times listed are an average estimate. If your package has not arrived within the shipping and processing estimate combined, please allow a few extra days before contacting the shipping partner in your country. You can find these details in the confirmation email which includes your tracking number. We can do our best to help you locate a missing parcel, however, we are unable to directly communicate with the postal service in your own country.
Tracking
All packages, except those delivered in classic envelopes, will be tracked, and will require signatures. It is best to ensure you choose a delivery address that is convenient to ensure you are there to receive the parcel. If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful, please communicate directly with your local post service to arrange re-delivery.
Customs & Duties
There are no extra charges for deliveries within Europe. Customers outside the European Union (such as United Kingdom, Switzerland, United States etc), are responsible for import duties and/or customs charges that your parcel may incur. Please be mindful that delays can occur in this process, and we will do our best to provide you with any further documents requested, however you will need to directly liaise with your local customs office to retrieve the parcel.
Failed Delivery - Returned Parcels
In cases where a parcel has been returned to us due to a failed delivery attempt or failed collection, we are happy to ship the parcel again, however, the customer will be fully responsible for any additional shipping costs. If the customer does not want the parcel to be shipped again, we will issue a full refund, minus the original shipping charge.
Quality Control & Faulty Items
All Rinchen Shop products are examined for quality when goods are received into the store. Many of our products are made individually, by hand, from crafters in Nepal, India, Tibet and beyond. As such, the consistency of products may differ to that which is pictured. We pride ourselves in selecting only the best products through regular contact and in-person communication with our crafters.
If you believe your item has been damaged during shipping, or you are otherwise unsatisfied with the quality of the product, then please contact us directly via email at info@rinchenshop.com. It is important for us to hear your feedback, and we will do our best to find a satisfactory solution for you.
RETURNS
You are welcome to refund or exchange your items within 14 days of receiving your order. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
Email us with your order number at your earliest convenience to ensure smooth processing of your return. You can reach us by email at info@rinchenshop.com.
When your items are safely received and processed, we will notify you by email, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment. Note, shipping costs cannot be refunded.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. However if the return is a result of our error, we will pay the return shipping costs. Please be sure to contact us as soon as possible at info@rinchenshop.com, before sending back a damaged or incorrect item. If you are shipping items over €75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
